This shirt has a simple premise, as most all of our
bodybuilding clothes.
Blood, Sweat & Iron. We replaced the word "tears", because we all know the gym is no place for cry babies! Besides, the tears may come during the days that follow a heavy leg night or deadlifts...
We've always thought this shirt was a nice balance of graphics and type. The wood-cut style graphic bodybuilder was hand-drawn using a reference photo of famous pro bodybuilder Kevin Levrone. And the tribal background printed in metallic silver helps hold it together with the type. This is one of our second generation designs, and the end is nowhere in sight. This has been a very popular bodybuilding shirt at Ironville.
We plan on using this bodybuilding design as a flagship "template" for some of our future work in bodybuilding clothes. Sometimes graphics can stand alone, sometimes a catchy phrase. But this muscle design is a perfect balance of both. Similar to that of a pro bodybuilder, with a refined balance of mass muscle and definition. The ultimate combination.
