This is one of our favorite, most universal designs amidst our line of hardcore bodybuilding clothing. But this design has a more interesting back-story behind it's conception. The parts and pieces that make this popular bodybuilding shirt actually came from three totally separate sources.

The skull and hard-hat were originally hand drawn by Ironville Founder, Charlie Burch. The graphic stood alone on a shirt entitled; "Ironworkers Union". Being known to take some older, original designs and "re-work" them to be more broad in scope, our hard-hat skull reappeared on this winged monster holding some heavy-ass dumbbells.

The wings were actually drawn from an old, vintage wall safe in Charlie's parent's Victorian home in Southern Wisconsin, built in the early 1900's. After several treatments to achieve right old-school look, our menacing skull now had some mighty wings. And the dumbbells are the same ones Charlie uses at the local gym on chest night, treated in the same high-contrast, posterized style.

Many of our custom bodybuilding designs are born by the same means, not unlike the muscled physique of a seasoned body builder. All the pieces and components are built separately, but come together to create the perfect beast. Such as our premier brand of bodybuilding clothing.
