The Ironville Dept. of Corrections is officially on lock-down! We've done some hard-time since our company debut in 2005. Luckily, our droves of Ironville faithfuls have helped position our brand as the top-dog out on the weight yard!

Our inspiration behind this bodybuilding gym shirt was actually based on our need to add some color. It's been noticed by many that several of our workout shirts are black. This is because they offer the most contrast and show less general wear (and stains) than a lighter colored shirt, especially after a few years in the gym! Black is also great for the heavy squatters or powerlifters whom chalk their back and traps to avoid the barbell from slipping. (And it's helpful to see where you've chalked). But as great as our black shirts look, we had to offer some lighter, brighter colors. The optimum color we could find is prison orange. And what better to go with a prison orange shirt than a hard-core prison design for the gym!
