Ironville
powerlifting clothing is obviously inspired by competitive powerlifters that do battle on virtually every level. State meets, Nationals, Worlds, you name it. No matter what level, it's understood how these lifts are correctly executed, or else red lights are certain. The squat is hardly an exception to this rule.
Whether you re-rack a big squat, it's all for not if you don't hit your depth. This depth can pose some gray area, depending on the judges. But if you don't want to gamble, an inch or two below parallel is where you drop before any attempt to complete the lift. Again, not much debate here. Our powerlifting clothing is dedicated to lifters that do it right and hit their depth. Cheaters need not apply.
The other inspiration behind this design might also be the wannabe knuckleheads at the gym that disgrace the squat rack with squats that might be better described as partial knee-bends. Load up as much weight as you want, if it ain't done to depth, it ain't done. Case closed.
